As a Senior Design Project Manager with expertise in data center facilities design, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. We are looking for a passionate Project Management Professional who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. This role can be a remote or hybrid position in the U.S.

By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. You’ll provide motivation and direction to project teams and be surrounded by expert mentorship and mentoring opportunities to help you and your team thrive.

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Manage design delivery of complex large Data Center projects from inception through construction and commissioning.

• Acts as one of the company’s prime contacts with the client with responsibility for overall work progress and technical performance on the project.

• Complete the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring that Jacobs’ HS&E, quality, financial, risk management; business and policy expectations are met.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline or 6 years additional work experience in lieu of a degree

• At least 3 years of experience as the Project Design Lead on design and construction projects for industrial and/or data center facilities

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• At least 8 years of data center facilities design experience

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field

Other requirement:

• Applicant must complete background check and be fully authorized to work for any client in the United States. Jacobs will not sponsor or continue a Visa for this position.
