As Accounting Manager, you join our collaborative team in Stonecrest, GA. You’ll lead, perform, and manage administrative functions, and provide supervision and direction to members of the finance staff. Applicants must have state or local government financial administration experience. Duties include audit, budget preparation, investment management, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset programs; general ledger, and other items related to governmental fund accounting and reporting systems. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, policies, codes, regulations of governing agencies, and GAAP.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field
Seven (7) years of accounting, auditing or finance experience in state or local government financial administration
Five (5) years of supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Possess a valid driver’s license
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field
Ability to coordinate multiple deadlines while working with and directing staff at all levels
Self-motivation and ability to work well in a team environment
Experience working with elected officials
Proficiency in HTML or other Web development software
Experience working in a public-private partnership
