Systems Security Administrators [Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator] must demonstrate knowledge in all aspects of SCCM components, configuration and design. They should be familiar with Active Directory, permissions, networking and have some automation experience (Powershell) in a Windows environment. They require good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry security trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations.
Perform SCCM administration and troubleshooting
Administer SCCM software delivery
Administer SCCM back end and maintain system reliability
Administer SCCM package testing and deployment
Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM stability issues
Implement industry best practices with regards to packaging, monthly security patching, OS Deployment techniques and asset tracking
Identify and automate repetitive processes
