Are you a Licensed Water Wastewater Operator with Project Manager experience and would like to join our collaborative team in South Temple, Central Texas as a Licensed Water Wastewater Project Manager? In this role, you'll oversee the collection and treatment of wastewater and the distribution of water in the rapidly growing Village of Salado and Little River-Academy with a team of four operators and mechanics. You’ll be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the projects including profit and loss, permit compliance, safety, quality, and employee supervision and management including staffing, training, and development. Working with other members of our team and the client you’ll build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and lead the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of wastewater & groundwater treatment facilities, collection and distribution systems. You’ll also be responsible for implementing safety policy and procedures and maintaining the operation process control complying with State and Federal regulatory agencies.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Texas class B wastewater and/or Water Operators License, or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months

  • Advanced experience in in the operation and maintenance of a water & wastewater facilities

  • Experience leading, coaching and supervising a team

  • Proficient performing mathematical calculations associated with wastewater & water treatment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data management systems and able to operate plant VFD’s and PLC’s

  • Valid driver’s license with no major infractions

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Associates or College degree

  • Experience operating activated sludge wastewater plants

  • Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule

  • Expertise of the technical aspects of the facility

  • Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills

The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
