We are looking for a driven and ambitious Field Inspector to grow with our Little Rock CEI Group. 

Our Little Rock CEI Group is currently responsible for Construction Engineering and Inspection on the largest Design Build Project in the State of Arkansas at 187.3 Million (Job No. CA0601). This Project consists of widening of 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 from a 4-lane highway to a 6-lane highway and the reconstruction of three major interchanges. This includes the reconstruction of 10 bridges.

Join us and you will learn from our highway technical experts as well as be a contributor to the development of new techniques and standards. Be part of the team assisting resident engineers and project managers in completion of inspection across a wide range of disciplines to include civil, utilities and pavements. You’ll work in accordance with projects and client specifications. We ensure you’ll have the chance to perform work with significant latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • High School diploma

  • 0-1 years in construction inspection

  • Knowledge of construction practices and principles

  • Intermediate mathematical skills in order to perform field calculations

  • Ability to gather and understand technical data for purposes of generating technical reports

  • Progressive work-related experience

  • Self-Starter

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced interpersonal skills in order to work with clients and/or project teams

  • Proficient in MS Office Suites and MS Project

  • Ability to travel

  • A valid State’s driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • A technical school graduate or have a Bachelor’s of related to Civil Engineering or Construction Management
