As a Bridge Engineering Professional and vital member of our Little Rock, AR team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on transportation projects that focus on bridges and other transportation structure designs. You will serve in a technical role and/or task lead on bridge design projects and perform complex structural analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects on local and international projects.
Other duties may include estimating project costs, contract negotiations, overseeing and ensuring that project quality, schedule, and budget requirements are met. Key focuses are business development, client presentations, and proposal preparation for some of the most complex bridge projects in Arkansas
Here’s What You’ll Need:
(P.E.) Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer
At least 8 years of demonstrated experience on various types of bridges, to include analysis, design and plan development of new and rehabilitation projects.
BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
Demonstrated proficiency with MicroStation, Microsoft Office Software, and a variety of structural engineering analysis and design software required. Must have a solid understanding of and practical experience applying the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications to transportation structures.
Candidate with established local client relationships preferred
Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
MSCE or Masters of Structural Engineering
A structural emphasis academically with coursework to include structural analysis, foundations, and design with structural steel, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete materials
Previously demonstrated project experience with ARDOT
