Based in Little Rock, AR you will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your highway/roadway design expertise to serve as a task lead on transportation related projects. You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with our clients. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living and have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation Focus)
At least 8 years demonstrated experience on various types of roadways, to include design and plan development of new and rehabilitation projects.
Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (P.E.) in Arkansas, or ability to obtain, is required
Previous Department of Transportation (DOT), County and Municipal experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads, and a variety of transportation engineering analysis and design software required. Must have a solid understanding of and practical experience applying the AASHTO to transportation projects.
Candidate with established local client relationships preferred.
Strong mathematical, analytical, time management skills.
Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
MSCE or Masters of Transportation Engineering
Experience with multi-discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects
Previously demonstrated project experience with ARDOT
