Business Unit Description:

We are looking for a Graduate Project Manager who can joinour growing UK Project Management Group and can grow their career in anexciting and diverse team.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The Graduate PM will:

  • Be responsible for supporting resources that areassigned, managing project team tasksand for day to day liaison with teams and clients.

  • Assist the management/reporting requirements andthe delivery of the project to the required standard, on time and withinbudget.

Be challenged:

  • To work with clients and contractors with a diverserange of objectives in the definition of a successful project.

  • To meet company objectives that are not alwaysaligned with those of clients.

  • To comply with all relevant Legislation, Policiesand Procedures .

  • To work with a diverse range of specialists andengineering professionals.

Be creative:

  • To provide technical solutions that meet therequirements of clients.

  • To support and encourage the project team membersto devise technical solutions that meetthe requirements of clients.

Essential:

  • You will hold or be finishing an MSc in ProjectManagement, and ideally you will also possess an engineering or constructionrelated degree.

  • You must submit a covering letter with your applicationoutlining why you are interested in this role and how your qualification andexperiences make you a suitable candidate.

  • You will know the principles of ProjectManagement, and have the ability to:

  • Effectively plan, monitor and control the work ofself and others taking account of the priorities of projects.

  • Plan, monitor and control the delivery ofprojects to clients.

  • Communicate with others and clients.

  • Report the commercial status of projects inaccordance with company methods.

  • Assist project delivery to the cost, the timeand the quality objectives of the company and clients.

  • Understand the factors affecting motivation ofproject team members and techniques for risk management.

  • With training become competent in MSOffice, MSProject, Earned Value, reporting Tools.
