Jacobs Global Future Talent (GFT) team is responsible for attracting early career talent and specifically graduates, intern, co-op and apprentices to the organisation across the globe.
An opportunity is available to join the GFT team as an advisor supporting regional activity across the UK as well as mainland Europe. This role is a permanent role or can be a 6 month contract with a view to extension. The role can be based in our London office or our Reading (Winnersh) office.
Managing a workload of requisitions relating to graduate, intern and apprenticeships
Using Taleo functionality to create appropriate pre-screening questions in relation to specific role’s.
Posting role’s using GFT library of role descriptions confirming specific requirements with hiring managers.
Support screening processes as required in region. This could include running telephone interviews or reviewing video based interviews.
Make recommendations to HMs on results of pre-screening stage’s
Support or run assessment centres as part of regional strategy including ensuring all key stakeholders are managed through the process.
Where needed liaising with internal resources aligned to support hiring peaks ensuring a consistency of services to end users.
Act as representative at either university careers fairs or support presentations as needed.
Work with careers departments as needed to support additional job posting and advertising services.
Connect where needed with academic departments to support other GFT activities as determined by regional strategy and vision.
Work with colleges and identify training providers in response to forecasts for apprenticeship hiring.
Liaise and work with related internal adjacencies including Learning & Development, Global Recruitment Operations and other HR partners.
Produce reports and updates as needed for local line management, TA leadership and operational leaders.
Participate in GFT Centre of Excellence work stream to review global processes and projects
Experience of running and delivering assessment centres.
Developed understanding of the graduate/intern/apprenticeship market across the UK and ideally into mainland Europe
Developed understanding of apprenticeship hiring including UK Apprenticeship levy and devolved country approaches to funding.
Developed knowledge of traditional campus activities needed to support brand and hiring activities.
Proven experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders ideally from a technical based organisation e.g. engineering consultancy
Clear and demonstrable understanding of Taleo functionality or other similar ATS
Good understanding of technology
Highly developed language and negotiation skills with experience of dealing with leadership across multiple functions.
Solid grasp of technical language and ability to adapt to new and emerging requirements.
Understand how to build key messaging that can be used for graduate marketing messaging
Experience of preparing analysis on key hiring metrics.
Experience of delivering presentations on campus
