About the opportunity
An opportunity has arisen to work across the Cities & Places business unit with our current BIM team and ensure delivery on a growing number of high-profile projects throughout the RIBA design stages.
We are a multi-disciplinary design-led team with goals and strong delivery skills. A like-minded, enthusiastic and experienced person is required to work on continuing to develop our skills in BIM implementation across several large-scale projects.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone to run the coordination of project deliverables through BIM tools and build upon our team, whilst managing delivery on several landmark London commissions. This position will be a hybrid role, based in our London office.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Proven experience in a BIM management or coordination role, working in Revit and delivering a minimum of BIM in accordance with ISO 19650.
Able to show a range of scale of projects applying relevant software
Ability to lead others and to deliver software and process training; with knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, other Autodesk software, Dynamo, and other software applications associated with Digital Delivery
Familiarity with relevant BIM and UK building standards
Experience in working within a common data environment
Appreciation of Jacobs’s design ethos
UK-based detail design, construction, delivery and planning experience
Ability to work as part of a self-motivated team
Desire and enthusiasm to further one’s career
Familiar with multiple digital document sharing platforms and requirements of such
Ability to coordinate with third-party BIM and digital consultants
Ability to multitask across a range of projects at different scales and complexity
Desire to progress efficiencies, standards, management and the use of BIM within the practice
