About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to help deliver a variety of projects in the South East of England. Largely focussed on the water management sector works will including flood risk management, reservoir engineering, utilities and habitat creation.

Your role will be to support the Project Manager at a worksite ensuring that the Contractor delivers the project in accordance with the Works Information. To do this you will work in collaboration with the Contractor’s site team; undertaking safety, quality, and engineering inspections of the Contractor’s works; identifying, reporting and resolving safety, quality, cost and schedule issues.

Based in our Water Catchment Management team in either our Peterborough or London office you will need flexibility to travel to sites across the South East of England.

You will have the opportunity to manage, support and drive delivery of interesting and innovative projects and collaborate with experts in other fields. Flexible to support our appraisal and design teams when site involvement is less than full time.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Undergraduate degree in an Engineering/Construction discipline or similar

  • Construction experience in civil engineering

  • NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager accreditation

  • Prior experience of administering NEC4 ECC contracts

  • Experience in quality control, inspector or supervisor role

  • Capable of managing peers

  • Experience in construction management

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Flexible in working/site locations

  • Full UK Driving License

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) - beneficial
