About the opportunity:

Jacobs has secured multi-year Contracts and Projects with leading Clients in the Water and Natural Environment Sector. We need a range of skills to deliver these fantastic opportunities and are therefore recruiting Senior Engineers who are looking to continue growing their careers in the Water and Natural Environment sector. We embrace flexible working and welcome candidates based throughout the UK.

You will join our team of over 1,000 Water and Natural Environment Professionals, working on a range of high-profile projects and become a part of a World Leading Company with excellent career prospects. You will lead teams in the successful delivery of projects working with Clients on flood risk, surface water, water network or wastewater collection projects. As a leader, you will work within a multi-disciplinary structure, driving technical excellence, delivering your projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.

You should have experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams to drive high levels of performance as an inclusive leader. You are commercially astute and have a strong understanding of your sector, clients and best practices. You will own client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business and staff. As we move to a more flexible working arrangement, we require our staff to be similarly adaptable, agile and flexible in their approach to working.   • Chartered status with recognised Professional Institution.

  • BEng/MEng Civil Engineering or related discipline

  • Experience leading and developing teams in one or more of the following areas:

  • river engineering

  • flood risk management

  • hydraulics and water conveyance

  • hydrology and hydraulic modelling

  • surface water management and drainage

  • experience of liaising with clients and managing projects
