As an emerging Scheduling Coordinator, you’ll join our collaborative Program Management team in Long Island City, NY . This position allows for skill and career growth as your mentored by experienced scheduling and planning professionals. As a valued contributor to the success of the team, you’ll be collaborating with project managers, construction managers, design managers and subcontractor schedulers to set tasks, and monitor the execution of project timelines.

We’ll rely on you to develop schedules with logical sequencing of activities and established durations, consult with project managers and technical experts to manage assignments, tasks, and subtasks, analyze critical path, driving paths, and what-if scenarios based on changes within the program and resolve conflicts in the schedule and escalate impacts to commitments due to construction/design delays or customer changes. You’ll develop, implement, and maintain an effective scheduling management system, coordinate project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders, monitor project timelines and deadlines - keeping stakeholders informed and identify potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner.

You’ll prepare project progress reports, accommodate updates and changes to project schedules, create project progress, performance evaluation reports, and recommend actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management

  • 4-6 years of large construction projects/programs scheduling experience

  • Experience in schedule planning and management

  • In-depth knowledge of the scope of construction projects

  • Ability to evaluate project progress, identify project risks and develop mitigation measures

  • Ability to analyze, coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule source inputs into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports

  • Experience with MS Projects and eBuilder

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Desire to build advanced scheduling skills

  • Primavera P6 experience

  • Certification as a PMI scheduling professional (PMI-SP)

  • Ability to develop cost / schedule analysis presentations both graphically, written, and verbally

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ​
