NOTE: THIS IS A 6-8 WEEK ASSIGNMENT ON A TEMPORARY BASIS WITH POTENTIAL TO BE FULL TIME

Position Summary:

Perform QA document control duties under the direction of the Jacobs, Project Quality Manager.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing of Quality document flow and distribution from all site subcontractors. The collection and logging in of all inspections that are specified by the subcontractors approved Inspection and Test Plans, Site Procedures, Applicable Codes, Project Specifications and Standards that will be retained for project reference, or final turnover by the Jacobs Project Quality Assurance Team, throughout the life cycle of the project.

  • This position/individual as well assures full support of documentation flow to the Jacobs, Orbits site Completions Administrator. Reproducing, distributing, storing and retrieving of QA/QC documentation as required.

  • Fluent use of Pro-Log, Word, Excel and other word processing and data base programs in which to manage Project Quality Documents.

  • Have working knowledge of internal audit procedures for assistance in developing Jacobs 90-day look ahead audit schedules. As well, maintaining audit results and updating Project Management team.

  • Assistance in coordinating Sub-Contractors Daily requests of Inspections Notifications.

  • Generate and distribute daily Jacobs QA site inspections reports and publications.

  • Maintain Jacobs Site NCR, Deficiency and Site Surveillance Logs and Reports.

  • Assistance with assembly of information associated with weekly PMT Quality Summary and Detail reports.

  • Record Retention of Subcontractors submittals such as Inspection and Test Plans, Site Specific Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Records, Calibration Certifications, Personnel Certifications and all other Sub-Contractor related Quality Documentation.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a minimum high school diploma, or GED, however minimum 2-year College Degree with a background in Business Management is Preferred.

  • Proven abilities in Excel, Word, Email and Intranet Usage, and the ability to learn specific software programs related to the job, including ORBITS Completions Data Software, JPOM Weld Management, Pro-log Converge and JPI.

  • Must have office experience and a working knowledge of general office equipment.
