Your Impact:

Jacobs is looking for a highly-motivated Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as a technical expert within the J6 Directorate of USCENTCOM. This is not a supervisory role. This is a Subject Matter Expert/Specialist that is responsible for supporting the CENTCOM Engineering Division in the execution of product cybersecurity elements across programs and services, including working with multiple security, IT and engineering leadership/stakeholders and technical resources to identify and plan physical and cybersecurity work to meet/exceed initiatives.

Program Mission:

USCENTCOM C4 Enterprise Support. Jacobs provides Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Enterprise Support (C4ES) to the J6 Directorate (CCJ6) of the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), located at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL, and its forward Headquarters located in Qatar. The C4ES program provides CCJ6 with enterprise IT support services including the ability to share information anytime and anywhere through a Network-Centric Environment that is flexible, redundant, reliable, secure, and protected.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) Internal Defensive Measure (IDM) for CENTCOM Headquarters and theater operations, and Headquarters Cybersecurity Policy, Programs, and Compliance support.

  • Leads Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and other Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense (IA/CND) Compliance and Auditing processes and inspections for all enterprise systems and networks.

  • Assists and provides subject matter expertise toward a multi-tiered cybersecurity risk management program including information of proactive measures for the prevention of incidents.

  • Leads compliance reviews of computer security plans, performs risk assessments, and validates and performs security test evaluations and audits.

  • Leads performance and validation of security test evaluations and audits.

  • Assists with development of enterprise security policies and security requirements for information protection on enterprise systems and networks.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Eligible Clearance required

  • Demonstrated experience using STIGs and their application to enterprise architecture.

  • Demonstrated experience using Risk Management Framework (RMF) Controls.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects in the area of cybersecurity engineering.
