Our client is seeking an Office Engineer for our client's project site near Saranac Lake, NY to assist the state EIC's in the management and inspection of DEC, DOCCS and DOT projects in the area. You'll support our client by balancing various tasks each day such as RFI tracking, contract document review, basic scheduling techniques, and preparation/review of payments. You'll coordinate with outside agencies, contractors, and other 3rd parties regarding field activities.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • 5 years of experience on smaller construction projects valued above $1 million

  • Basic knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, basic scheduling techniques, payment review and preparation

  • OSHA 30 Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

  • Familiarity with Uniform Building Code requirements for nonresidential occupancies

  • Proficient utilizing Windows/Outlook/Word/Excel and scheduling application

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation / Willing and able to drive to client sites

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture

The base salary range for this position is $38,188 to $77,896. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
