As the site-based Construction Manager, your key role is to oversee a team(s) of construction activities. You’ll contribute to the organization by leading the delivery of construction projects (or the construction portion of an EPCM project) for the firm’s external clients
Foster a strong HSE / EHS environment (Beyond Zero) between trades, client(s), design.
CM Reports to Site Project Manager .
Key function is to support Base Build, Sustaining and TI projects with in the semiconductor sector, but could expand into other opportunities.
Manager has overall responsibility for project, technical, contractual, budget and schedule activities within the construction.
Key client interface to promote continuing relations. Including responsibility for management and contract performance across multiple disciplines.
Responsible for the Scope, Schedule, and Cost for the Construction activities.
Review of RFP, pre-construction activities, scope review, Trade partner alignment (reaching out to trade disciplines for work specific tasks).
Ensuring project deliverables are established, executed and closed.
Responsible for overall construction work progress and technical performance on the project.
Lead and manage the construction project team through site mobilization, execution, and demobilization activities.
Review all cost associated with projects. CO’s, PO’s, ECO’s etc
Complete the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring that HSE, quality, financial, risk management; business and policy expectations are met.
May included attend Trade, Client meetings and Internal meetings provide reports as needed to communicate project successes, highlightsm and impacts.
Review expenses, time cards, OT approval and daily interaction with teams with Site Project Manager.
Lead teams by motivation and direction typically through multiple site superintendents, construction managers, and functional managers by driving a successful project delivery process.
Chair and drive daily and weekly trade meetings, support whiteboard efforts, maintain project schedule and provide technical support to Construction Coordinators.
Depending on project needs, expected to run projects as both a Construction Manager and a Construction Coordinator (spending a large % of your time in the field).
Implement scope, schedule and budget for the installation, conversion or demolition project. (be it Base Build, Sustaining, Tool Install etc)
Supervise the construction of process, mechanical, electrical, I&C, LSS, architectural and structural scope CSA/MEP disciplines)
Review and approve JSA, PPT, JHA, SIPP, SOR, Hot work permitting (safety field reporting).
Interface with factory engineers and managers of operations, to coordinate construction within live facilities without impact to production (ITP prevention).
Manage safety practices of work force and ensure work is conducted according to building code, client specifications and best-known practices.
Develop schedule and coordinate trades to execute minor repairs and projects.
Manage the daily activities of a client and contractor workforce of managers, engineers, designers, and trades, to meet or exceed all schedules for project deliverables.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of Engineering or Construction Management Experience Required.
Proficiency in MS Office products, as well as AutoDesk (optional).
Able to read and interpret engineering schematics and design prints
Semiconductor Tool Install experience required.
Proficiency in presentation and communication to customer, contractor and management audience.
Proven working knowledge of construction scheduling.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows business applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Proven as excellent leader/player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
