With that in mind, we are looking for a talented Product Managers to join our product team in building an IoT platform that will change the way water networks are managed and drastically reduce pollution events.

This is a key role driving the evolution of our product management function and development of a key growth product which is expected to have growth opportunities both in the UK and globally.

As Associate Product Manager you will create and drive a clear, commercially successful, and effective product vision and product roadmap for the product features. You’ll input into the evolution of our operating structure enabling Jacobs to be more product led across Digital and our Business Units. You’ll successfully integrate the different stakeholder views for the product platform so that resources are maximised, and the product focuses onto the most profitable areas, whilst ensuring that the platform and associated products hit their sales targets with all stakeholders fully aware of the product vision and plan.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Defining, prioritising, planning and driving the execution of the product vision for the product at feature level

  • “Owning” the product experience for a specific feature set(s), acting as the product evangelist to build awareness with internal and external stakeholders

  • Working closely with other market segment owners to drive broader adoption and commercialisation

  • Gathering, analysing and prioritising features based on feedback from the end users and customers, the operating units, sales, and the general market

  • Creating and managing product strategies, roadmaps, project plans and product specifications

  • Creating product requirements, specifications, collateral, UI/UX wireframe for various user cases with the help of others

  • Prioritising sprints and feature releases, coordinating closely with the technical team on both new features as well as architectural improvements

  • Driving product release launches and helping to drive the commercialisation of the products

  • Collaborating with the Product and Engineering squads to monitor and lead delivery progress against agreed milestones and to identify risks, flag issues and work-out viable solutions

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Demonstrable experience in product management and product development, within B2B, SaaS and digital solution development

  • Experience working with range of stakeholders in the product development process

  • Experience working in a range of environments: corporate, SME and start-ups

  • Excellent knowledge of SCRUM Agile/ lean start- up methodologies

  • Highly organised, with close attention to detail and excellent project management skills

  • Must have past experience within process design skills, such as the ability to define and execute a new process from scratch

  • Has built multiple successful customer journeys before, working closely with Designers and Front-end developers

  • Experience of working in an international environment
