To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations, we have an opportunity for an ESRI Enterprise Administrator/Developer within our Digital team. The successful candidate will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.

This role can be based in any of our Jacobs hub offices across the UK where you will join a team of stablished geospatial specialists. We offer a hybrid approach to work location, which combines working from home and time in the office with your team.

The role is required to complement the progressive Digital team, with a focus on supporting high profile transportation projects. You will be administering ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise and developing with ESRI Python and JavaScript APIs and other GIS and development software.

You will provide critical input to ensure the efficient operation of ArcGIS Portal and ArcGIS Server and support many project users in their day-to-day tasks.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

You will have extensive knowledge of the ESRI platform including desktop and web environments and solid experience in administering, updating and maintaining ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise using Python API.

We would like to see evidence that you have worked in an Azure cloud environment and have experience in troubleshooting and optimising ArcGIS Enterprise and applying quality checks to published services.

You will also have experience in developing guidance and best practice for Portal workflows.

An awareness of emerging geospatial trends and technologies would be valuable.

Bonus points for knowledge of other server-side data analytics and front-end/web development languages, familiarity with PostGIS and GeoServer and experience in deploying geospatial solutions from development to production environments.
