About the Opportunity

As part of our ongoing growth in Energy Transition, Nuclear Decommissioning, Defence and Digital Consultancy, we are seeking a Project Management Capability Lead to lead our growth and delivery capability across the biggest and most challenging projects, programmes, consultancy and advisory opportunities that ‘move the needle’ for the sector, for our clients and for Jacobs.

The purpose of this role is to strategically position Jacobs in the successful appointment, delivery of projects and programmes, building the PM capability and keeping the capability members connected to the business. The role will lead the growth of our capabilities and capacity through our existing talent and acquisition of sector differentiators to access new markets and geographies. The role is agile, responding to the needs of the market, and you’ll find yourself in a mixture of external and internal positions, working with a network of senior global leaders in:

  • Providing excellent leadership of our team, look after their wellbeing, and enable their growth and development so that we are the employer of choice for project and Programme Management Professionals.

  • Delivering excellent performance for all our clients.

  • Ensuring sustained growth of our business and deliver sustainable profitability.

  • Growing our project and programmes management delivery capability.

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Taking new market share - positioning with new clients and/or new sectors. Creating growth for the whole business by combining our offerings with those from other OUs.

  • Developing and retaining an engaged workforce that meets business needs, ensuring we have the skills/capabilities required and that these are deployed effectively.

  • Building enduring relationships with clients and partners by understanding and delivering their business needs so we become their company of choice.

  • Ensuring health, wellbeing, safety, and environmental outcomes are delivered in both operational and project contexts.

  • Leading multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams in a highly regulated environment.

  • Delivering projects to time, budget, and client quality expectations.

  • Delivering key business outcomes - revenue, margin, G&A spend, retention etc

  • Degree qualified in appropriate engineering or management subject and membership of a relevant professional body such as APM or an engineering institution.
