We are looking for an Environmental Scientist who will undertake field work activities related to Water Quality and Environmental sampling/monitoring with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate water quality sampling equipment and undertake in-situ water physico-chemical measurements

• Design Water Quality Sampling/Monitoring Programs.

• Prepare technical reports pertaining to Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring

• Can carry out routine sampling with minimal supervision but can also work effectively with a team

• Willing to work on occasional extended long hours as needed

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Strong background on water quality assessment, local and international water quality standards, and water sampling protocols. Some laboratory background preferred

• Can plan water quality assessment surveys and field procedures

• Experience in environmental permitting work

• Is not restricted to travel on short or long-term field assignments to perform field surveys

• Should have strong technical skills, to write, edit and review technical reports.

• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to work under pressure

• Can design water quality assessment and monitoring procedures

• Graduate of BS Chemistry, Geology, Environmental Science, or Life Sciences from a reputable College or University

• Equivalent work experience is required. Some laboratory experience preferred.

• DENR EIA CCA-DRR certification an advantage

• 3-5 years work experience

Working Conditions

• Able to perform work independently on project sites outside Manila area
