We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.

The Renewable Energy Consultant Wind is responsible for providing consultancy engineering services in the Wind Power space and is rather a technology generalist. This role requires detailed knowledge of wind energy development processes, technical design, due diligence, and owner’s engineering with focus in the Philippines. Onshore wind experience is a must, offshore wind experience a plus. Beyond delivering

· Support project teams in renewable energy project delivery, particularly in wind power.

· Preparation and review of feasibility studies, conceptual designs, technical specifications and tender documentation;

· Review and prepare technical content for EPC and O&M contracts as well as PPA etc.;

· Undertake construction-phase site inspections and report on quality and progress;

· Performance review of operational sites;

· Support to the regional team’s technical capabilities for wind power projects to act as Owner’s Engineer and Lender’s Technical Advisor,

· Interact with discipline engineers to deliver holistic scope of works.

· Be engaged in the safety culture of Jacobs and promote safety in all aspects of project delivery.

· Proactively manage the HSE requirements on projects.

· Support in bids and proposals and engage in client activities.

· Support other generation projects as required, depending on know-how and experience.

Here’s what you’ll need :

Requirements:

· Experience in renewable energy consulting business with focus on onshore and offshore wind projects in all project phases

· Wind project development and designing experience

· Knowledge of using WindPro or other related software

· Experience in management of multi-disciplinary project teams

· Track record of delivering projects involving teams and at times under time pressure.

· Willingness to expand skills and experience and to use existing skills in unfamiliar industries.

· Client service and business development orientation.

· High standards of work planning, organisation and delivery.

· High skill level in oral and written communication.

· At least 10 years’ professional experience.
