At Jacobs, our Power Solutions team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation and storage solutions space. We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.  

We are currently looking for Process Engineer. You will be accountable engineering and analysis. Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Process Design Development: discipline contributor in Feasibility and Optioneering Studies, mainly in CCGT facilities.

• Preparation of design justification or assessment of new and existing process plants as part of safety reports.

• Participation in design review meetings and close out procedures (ie. P&ID review, HAZOP, SIL study, Alarm management study).

• Coordination within a team of multidisciplinary engineers, both internally and combined with partner companies, joint-ventures and client teams

• Prepare tender documentation

• Prepare engineering & contract documents.

• Technical & commercial bid review work.

• Good listening, writing and communication skills

• Good presentation skills

Here’s what you’ll need :

• Preferably Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering with professional engineering qualifications, or relevant experience.

• Minimum of 8 years’ professional experience in a relevant industry

• The candidate is most likely to have a general process engineering background with prior success in contribution to successfully delivered engineering design projects.

• Consulting experience is desirable

• Experience should show senior process involvement in multi-disciplinary complex engineering design projects.

• A demonstrable track record of producing process engineering design work.

• Both site and office experience should be shown, as well as a track record of delivering to time and agreed quality.

• Has participated in team building initiatives and comfortable to work in a matrix structure.
