Telecom Construction Project Manager

Jacobs is seeking a qualified applicant for a Construction Project Manager position for our Florida market. The Construction Project Manager ensures that Jacobs meets production, budget and deadline goals while managing the real estate, construction and administrative staff.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate accurate, up-to-date reporting of project status, scheduling and planning

  • Oversees real estate, construction and administrative staff progress and has decision making responsibilities on any project changes

  • Responsible for the projects' revenues, margins, manpower and all required resources

  • Oversee project financials, including managing billing and receivable process

  • Interfaces with the clients' program office for all program related matters to include, but not limited to, scheduling, subcontractors, site conditions, invoicing and construction close out

  • Provides activity reporting and forecasting of revenues, margins, manpower and all required resources to more senior management

  • Coordinates program and contract matters with CMG (Client Management Group) and legal, as needed

  • Identifies new business opportunities along with partnering with business development group to sell expanded services within market

  • Handles other duties as assigned by manager


  • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience managing Construction/Site Development is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years combined experience managing Site Development and New Site Build Scope is required

  • Capable of building a team to execute the work is required

  • Experience in cost and schedule maintenance is required

  • Travel is required

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

  • Must be US Citizen or eligible to work for any US Employer without sponsorship.

Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting,walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, andlifting. Hand manipulation is requiredfor grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or lefthands utilized. Need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, as well as belowthe shoulder for same. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be travel,will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasionalneed to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk onuneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes intemperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
