In this role you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.

Reporting to the Roads & Highways Leader for the Southern Region, as the Associate Civil Engineer, you will develop Road and Civil Design documentation, reports and specification of Engineering solutions in response to a client’s brief. Your sound knowledge and breadth of experience in preparing Road and Civil
Design Layouts, Cross Sections, and details, will assist with maintaining and building on existing client relationships. A key responsibility of the role is design management of medium to large Road and Civil packages as well as providing support to the project/design manager in the control/reporting of projects. You’ll have the opportunity to mentor our Global Future Talent (GFT) network and take an active role in the team’s technical development and standing in the industry.

Ability to maintains and expand, strategic client relationship networks consistently and uncover opportunities in conjunction with Business Development Leaders.
Ability to work with Business Development Leaders to understand client requirements and contributes to client sector planning/action
Project delivery and quality performance – demonstration of compliance with client expectations project objectives, procedures and without rework or errors
Project delivery and quality performance – demonstrated quality innovative and cost effective outcomes for the client
Project financial performance – delivering project on budget and on time
