Due to current business opportunities, we are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join our fast-growing Water Infrastructure team. This is an opportunity to join a dedicated and high-performing team of water professionals to deliver a range of significant projects for both public and private sector clients both locally and nationally.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
The role will work alongside Senior Engineers and Technical Leaders, and provide assistance on water industry projects where required, to further develop understanding of civil engineering design, including:
Preparation of designs, technical reports and proposals to inform a variety of drinking water or wastewater engineering work in the initial planning, design, and construction phases of projects.
Working with other members of our team, you'll work on projects evaluating and selecting the best approach to solve our clients' challenges and planning and designing water engineering augmentations.
Contributing to multidisciplinary teams delivering major water and wastewater treatment systems.
Contributing to winning work and market-led innovative offerings.
Assisting in the development of Graduate Engineers, particularly training in the use of relevant software packages.
You will work collaboratively with other team members to deliver goals and targets of the team, section and Performance Unit (PU).
Attend client meetings where possible to gain an understanding of the relationships that we aspire to maintain.
Represent the team at meetings and ensure tasks undertaken are understood completely before stating.
Qualifications / Experience:
Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
Experience in concept and detailed design of water infrastructure projects.
Well-developed use and understanding of CADD software.
Understanding of safety in design practices and processes.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
