Our team in Melbourne are seekinga Principal Tunnel Engineer to help grow our team of tunnelling experts toservice our growing tunnelling portfolio.
You will recruit talent, provide technicalleadership, mentoring and advice, while servicing numerous clients withininfrastructure, mining, gas, power and water utilities and building sectors.
To excel in this role the key success factorswill include: strategic thinking and communication skills that positivelyinfluence outcomes, effective technical leadership and project delivery, broadcompetency in tunnel engineering, as well as specialist expertise in specificarea(s).
This position requires you to take akey role in the development of Jacobs tunnelling and geotechnical business inthe ANZ region, as well as the promotion of knowledge sharing and technicalexcellence.
Key requirements for the role:
CharteredCPEng or equivalent
Experienceworking in a team environment
Excellentverbal and written communication skills
Soundexperience in various areas of tunnelling investigation, analysis and designand associated infrastructure projects
Atleast 10 years tunnelling experience
Soundunderstanding of relevant tunnelling standards within areas of expertise
Soundinterpersonal and technical management skills, demonstrated ability to lead agroup of tunnelling engineers in delivering solutions
Positivetrack record in client management and development. Ability to build &maintain strong client & team relationships
Experiencein planning and execution to achieve business goals
Astrong knowledge of the Australian market place, in particular industry andmajor Clients, is preferred
