Due to recent project successes and a strong project pipeline within our Melbourne Transport team, we currently have interest in recruiting Experienced to Principal level Signalling Design Lead to join our Rail team.

Working with a dedicated team, you will gain exposure to a wide range of projects and work with a highly experienced and dedicated team on some of Melbourne’s most sought-after transport projects. You will be relied on for your Project/Design coordination of Signalling project and technical interfaces across multidisciplinary rail projects and will assist or participate in the preparation of tender bids. You will further be responsible for the coordination of Rail Signalling designs and interfacing with multidisciplinary teams on our transport infrastructure projects.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

The successful candidate is expected to hold tertiary qualifications in engineering (electrical/electronic/computing etc) in addition to experience in signalling leadership across Design and T&C- MTM competencies where appropriate. You should also be experienced in:

  • Leading Signalling Designs for Circuit Design for Relay and Computer Based Interlocking design

  • Working knowledge of the ARO and VRIOGS standards

  • Multi-disciplinary interfaces with Signalling systems Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD

  • Strong understanding of the multi-disciplinary interfaces with Signalling systems.

  • Membership of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (Preferred).
