Your Impact:

All living things depend on water, it is the building block that supports all life. Water issues are becoming increasingly prominent as we struggle with disparity between water availability and demands, water pollution, and competition for limited water resources. At Jacobs, we recognize these challenges and our engineers, scientists, and planners are working together with clients to find the right solutions to their water challenges.

The role requires a hydrogeologist or groundwater modeller to work in the Australian water resource, infrastructure, and mining sectors. The purpose of this role is to tackle complex groundwater challenges by applying scientific principles and/or modelling code. This role will require a broader understanding of hydrogeology, technical report writing skills, project management skills and the ability to work well within a team. You will need to collaboratively work with other disciplines, write proposals for, win, and manage both complex and smaller projects within the area of your technical expertise. The role will include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Undertaking and leading a range of groundwater projects including both office based and potentially field based activities

Data collation and analysis.

Providing specialist support to other technical disciplines within Jacobs, including for infrastructure projects.

Liaison with clients, stakeholders, and regulators.

Presenting information to senior management at meetings in a concise and effective manner.

Authoring complex assessments / reports. · Report checking and review.

Mentoring and guiding of junior staff.

Managing project teams, project budgets and financial reporting as a project manager.

Oversight of project budgets and financial reporting as a Project Manager.
