On the back of a strong pipeline of work ahead of us delivering high profile and challenging projects for our clients we are looking to go grow our Southern Surface Water team.
You will be joining our a collaborative and dynamic, 20-person strong team to play a leadership role in delivering hydrologic and flood modelling studies for major infrastructure, floodplain management, environmental waterway management and dam safety projects, just to name a few. We primarily support the South East Australia and New Zealand region; however, we don’t let borders limit us.

We are looking for a person with the following attributes:
Providing leadership in our team by motivating, coordinating and mentoring staff
Leading a range of hydrology and flood modelling projects through the entire project lifecycle
Demonstrated experience with the TUFLOW and RORB computer modelling packages as well other hydraulic and hydrologic software packages (e.g. HEC-RAS, Mike, Flike, XPRAFTS, URBS) would be desirable.
Competency in GIS packages such as QGIS, MapInfo or ArcGIS
Strong oral and written communication skills as liaison with our clients, stakeholders and Jacob’s colleagues in teams across the world is key to our success
