As part of our Highway/Civil Group, you will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale transportation infrastructure projects in the Midwest and nationally utilizing your design experience. Your knowledge will be used to support the transportation team and build relationships with our clients. Typical duties for this role include:

  • Design and prepare plans, specifications, and estimates under the supervision of the Project Manager

  • Develop horizontal and vertical geometry

  • Create roadway corridor models

  • Prepare project reports

  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other agencies

  • Participate in quality control / quality assurance

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation Focus)

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in transportation design work

  • EIT Certification

  • Working knowledge of federal and state design guidelines (WisDOT preferred)

  • Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D background

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Professional Engineer License (PE) in WI preferred or a plan of acquiring your PE License
