Position Summary

Reporting directly to the ProgramControls Manager, this position is site based and client facing. Entry tointermediate level position. Responsibilities are summarized below, but alsoincludes any other reasonable activity as directed from time to time.

  • Oversees that theproject controls tasks are executed and documented in accordance with thecontract documents, approved manuals and procedures, and good cost management practices

  • Monitor, tracks,analyzes, forecast and reports on project budgets, commitments, expenditures,estimates to complete, projected over/under, and change management via theselected Project Controls Management System

  • ReviewsArchitectural contract amendments, potential change orders and assists in amendments/changeorder issuance and related change management reporting

  • Reviews invoicesand pay applications in detail for accuracy and completeness

  • Issues monthly andquarterly reports on the progress of the overall Program and specific projects,including project costs, project status, project scope of work and schedule.Reports are tailored to specific audiences,both internal and external.Other reportsmay need to be provided if needed.

  • Maintains andaudits integrity of financial and project data kept in the Project ControlsManagement System

  • Performs monthlyfinancial reconciliations

  • Preparespreadsheets and a wide variety of cost analysis, and cost related evaluations.

  • Attend clientprogram meetings and project status meetings as needed

  • Close out projectfinancials and accounts upon project completion, in conjunction with theAccounting Department

  • Compileinformation for internal and external auditors, as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degreein Cost Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline

  • Knowledge ofProject Controls fundamentals preferred

  • Proficient withMS Office Suite of tools, especially MS Excel. Exposure to schedule software, preferably Primavera (P6)

  • Experience usingProject Controls Management Systems (i.e. Prolog Converge, E-builder) preferred

  • Good verbal andwritten communications skills and a desire to work with details

  • Establishedability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Establishedability to collaborate with variety of people in various roles with differentleadership styles

  • Strongorganizational, planning, time management, critical thinking and analyticalskills

  • Must be eligible to work in the USA.
