As part of Jacobs’ Global Risk Management, you’ll join a group of strategically focused professionals as a member of the team, supporting our operations across the Americas. Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future - big and small, global, and local.

As a senior Risk Management Professional, you’ll be joining a collaborative, interactive, and inclusive risk and insurance management team. While focused on the Americas, your role will be an integral part of a global team that delivers risk management support, project risk identification, and insurance program structure, placement, and management to Jacobs’ operations around the world.

In this impactful role, you’ll:

  • Actively support Jacobs’ commitment to safety and our core values.

  • Review project contracts to ensure compliance with insurance and surety requirements.

  • Review joint venture and other teaming agreements to establish effective insurance requirements among teaming members.

  • Manage communications with underwriters, brokers, and other service providers.

  • Play a key role in annual corporate renewal and administration of Jacobs’ insurance programs.

  • Engage brokers and internal clients to obtain required underwriting data for placement of both corporate and project-specific insurance policies.

  • Conduct tailored training sessions to suit business units’ unique risk and insurance needs.

  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting as priorities shift.

  • Assist with management of certificate of insurance program.

  • Process invoices and similar items.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in risk/insurance, business, law or related field.

  • At least 4 years of risk analysis/management experience.

  • Solid understanding of insurance and risk management principles.

  • Strong knowledge of casualty and property coverage lines and policy mechanics.

  • Able to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

  • Motivated and happy contributing to the team, but also able to work independently.

  • Will take the initiative to define, analyze and solve problems, seeking guidance as necessary, rather than waiting to be directed.

  • Can manage multiple demands from across a wide range of internal customers.

  • Strong desire to seek out learning opportunities.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Engineering, construction, and technology (e.g., Cyber, Network, PII) industry experience.

  • Knowledge of governmental entities and procurement processes.

  • Industry certification (e.g., AFSB, ARM, CPCU, CRIS) or other evidence of continuing professional education.
