We are currently looking for a Client Portfolio Value Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects and frameworks related to a single nuclear decommissioning client that sit within multiple P&Ls across the business.

You will report to the a Group Director and work closely with the relevant Business Development Director, Framework Directors, Project Directors, and senior leadership to identify and implement portfolio delivery improvements.

This role will not have accountability or responsibility for managing individual tasks and projects – existing project managers will retain this accountability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement opportunities to deliver more efficiently and/or create additional billable value with a target of increasing the portfolio GM by 3% (5% stretch target). A benefits realisation approach should be taken to defining the action plan, and areas may include: Master resource schedule / Digital delivery / Supply chain engagement / Learning & Development / Staff engagement / IDS Delivery

  • Identify areas of best practice delivery and implement across the portfolio, creating a consistent ‘brand’ of Jacobs delivery that aligns with strategic intent. Areas may include: Environmental sustainability/ Social impact / Innovation in delivery / Digital delivery

  • Establish and coordinate a portfolio threat and opportunity review process that includes bottom up and top-down communications with individual framework threat and opportunity processes

  • Lead the Portfolio Review Meeting, providing a monthly forum for contract and framework leads to progress actions related to integrated portfolio delivery

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership, providing updates on portfolio improvement actions, benefits delivered and a portfolio balanced scorecard containing appropriate and meaningful metrics

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the wider portfolio framework and contract leadership team

Here’s what you’ll need :

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programme management or similar, excellent leadership and influencing skills, experience in transformation and change management and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
