Jacobs General ledger Accountant - Fixed Asset and Lease in Mumbai, India

Your Impact:

  • Prepares monthly/quarterly account reconciliations, journal entries and other fixed asset related tasks

  • Performs monthly variance analysis and initiate corrective actions

  • Interacts with individuals worldwide to resolve/record asset setup/disposals/transfers

  • Ensures compliance with company policies, relevant accounting requirements, internal controls

  • Prepares monthly/quarterly reports and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

  • Collects and analyzes data from Internal and External resources for reporting and accounting purposes

  • Supports internal and external audit

  • Drives process improvements/changes

Here’s what you’ll need :

Skills and Competencies Required:

  • · Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, equivalent major or equivalent experience

  • · 2 years of professional experience in accounting environment

  • · 1 years of professional experience in general ledger

  • · Experience with ERP accounting systems (Oracle R12 preferred)

  • · English skills that allow to communicate fluently in every situation

  • · Good working knowledge of MS Excel

  • · Very good teamwork skills and positive, proactive attitude

  • · Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving mindset

  • · Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • · Efficiency in time management

  • · 1-2 days during close available in Central European Time Zone (UTC 1)

  • Work Location is Navi Mumbai Preferred qualifications:

  • Oracle R12 Fixed Asset Experience

  • Practical knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and controls

  • Experience with US Global organization
