Job Description:

The SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) Administrator will become part of the Global SPF Team and be responsible for analysing, designing and configuring SPF integrated solutions for our clients as well as supporting and administering existing SPF Projects.

The successful applicant will require significant SPF skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team to deliver integrated solutions. He or she will work within all aspects of SPF including integrating complex systems that include design and engineering systems, data management as well as extraction and validation of legacy data.

Being part of the Global team will provide the successful applicant with a network of support but it is also a clear requirement of this role to be able to work independently. This role offers significant opportunity to be part of cutting edge technologies and to work on some of the largest engineering projects in the world.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Working within the existing team structure, company policies and system environment

  • Gathering, documenting and presenting requirements

  • Designing and documenting solutions

  • Building and/or configuring solutions

  • Internal testing of the solution and preparing documentation for external testing

  • Deployment and maintenance of the solution



  • Conceptual thinker and able to work with complex systems

  • Minimum of a degree or diploma in engineering or computer science

  • Fast learner

  • Possess the soft skills required for interaction with the customer and team members

  • Great communication skills in English to facilitate working with a team located all over the globe

Specific skills and experience:

  • Ability to document requirements

  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of business

  • SPF Configuration required

  • SPF Customization required

  • SPF Integration required

  • SmartPlant Design Tool knowledge required

  • SPO experience desired

  • SPC experience desired
