If you are looking for an opportunity to solve complex challenges and do meaningful work, then you should join our Naples, FL team as a Drinking Water & Reuse Technologist!

As a valued Jacobs technologist, you will work across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful evaluation, optimization, design, commissioning and full-scale operational troubleshooting of water treatment facilities to help clients implement solutions that best meet their specific growth, regulatory, rehabilitation and reliability needs. You will collaborate with our local and global technology leaders to produce innovative solutions for a variety of municipal and industrial clients that are sustainable and resilient while utilizing world-class Jacobs digital tools. You will help drive the evaluation and ultimate incorporation of emerging technologies into our work while implementing Jacobs best practices developed over the past 40 years serving the drinking water industry. You will have the opportunity to work on award winning projects within Florida, and ultimately globally, that use conventional and advanced treatment processes to treat conventional and alternative water supplies, as well as effectively remove emerging contaminants.  You will present your work to industry peers in industry magazines and at professional conferences.

We’ll rely on you to support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects, as well as work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading.

Collaborate with our senior technologists who are experts in the industry, with the expectation that you will participate in team building and mentoring of younger engineers.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Master’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering

  • Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure

  • Progressive professional experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering

  • Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, reuse, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies

  • Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities

Ideally, You’ll Also Have: 

  • Experience with membrane treatment technologies including membrane filtration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis

  • Project management experience and certification

  • Direct or indirect potable reuse project experience
