Jacobs Entry Level Environmental Compliance Specialist - Multiple Locations in New Orleans, Louisiana

Based in the United States (preferred locations: New Orleans, LA; Salt Lake City, UT; Irvine, CA or Phoenix, AZ), you’ll assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff to support projects through data collection and management, data review, development of technical reports, calculating emissions estimates, and so much more.

Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
United States Citizenship
Ability to work in one of the preferred locations for this role (New Orleans, LA; Salt Lake City, UT; Irvine, CA or Phoenix, AZ) or other locations in the US based on project needs
Ideally, you’ll also have:
A previous internship related to your field of study
Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
Ability to obtain 40-hour Hazardous waste and emergency operations (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role
