In order to continue our world-renowned solutions, we are seeking a Deputy Architecture Group Lead.

When you join us, we’ll utilizing your inspirational leadership to be responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned staff while striving for excellence in delivery. You’ll lead by example and promote and foster Jacobs culture of caring, values and diversity & inclusion.

We’ll have you coordinate with Manager of Project (MOP)s and Project Managers on staffing needs and aligns appropriate resources as project needs are established. Coordinates with Client Account Managers/Business Partners to provide staff needed for pursuits.

You’ll be mindful and balance utilization across levels to ensure staffing profitability. We’ll have you develop workforce plans in coordination with stakeholders; acts as hiring manager for required staff, working in concert with others around established hiring plans; integrates new hires. Help us be the steward of career development and manages performance which include basic skill development and sustainment, growth opportunities and skill refinement.

Your business acumen will be showcased by coordinating across regions/Business Units/LoBs to optimize resource management and provide opportunities for staff and profitable growth. And when you coordinate with leaders across the region to identify talent not available locally.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

• Registered Architect (RA)

• Autodesk Revit Experience

• Experience managing a team of design professionals, including monitoring work performance, and driving professional development 

• Project experience with transportation and commercial facilities

*Ideally, You’ll Also Have: *

• NCARB Certificate holder

• Participation in professional organizations

• Master’s Degree in Architecture
