We’re seeking an Electrical Designer to join our team in New York City. You’ll have the opportunity to use your vast experience in the industry and apply it to solving today’s challenges.

As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of skills as part of an integrated building services design. Our skills include prepare CADD design electrical drawings, power system planning, power distribution, lighting design, vertical transportation, and construction coordination.

In this role, you will perform field work to assess all types of electrical systems and collect data for new construction or repair and alteration.

You will need prior design experience as much as possible on the following systems:

  • Incoming electrical service

  • Distribution voltage levels

  • Main service equipment

  • Switchboards and panelboards

  • Motors and controllers

  • Wiring methods and materials

  • Convivence outlets

  • Interior and exterior lighting

  • Telecommunications structured cabling system and sound systems

  • Building lightning protection systems

  • Ground and surge protection systems

  • Integrated security and investigative CCT camera systems

  • Access control system and control CCTV systems

  • Intrusion detection systems

Typical salary range for this position is $90,500 to $158,300 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. For “remote” positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Technical or Associate’s degree in relevant field

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a corporate engineering environment

  • United States Citizenship
