As an Interior Designer in our Northeast Interiors Group you’ll work closely with a team of talented award winning designers to design cutting edge state of the art facilities for Science and Research, Lab/Office Interiors and Corporate Interiors in our New York area . You will use your 3D conceptual skills to communicate design ideas and direction, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration while conforming to budgets and schedules. We’ll rely on you to provide sound guidance and strategic advice to both your team and clients as you manage client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination. Included in these efforts is assisting in setting assignment objectives and work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy. We will look to you to promote the firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution and sustainability while contributing to office activities, initiatives and learning programs.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Please note this position is not a New Graduate postion. We are looking for work experience in New York area with on-site construction administration and work experience with corporate design, and ideally lab environments as well
Expert computer skills to include Revit and AutoCAD as well as knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp
*Ideally You’ll Also Have: *
Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Working towards professional licensure NCIDQ Certification or RA
Involvement in professional organizations
