Large-scale adoption of zero-emissions technology is still in its early stages, and presents exciting technical, organizational, and logistical challenges. Zero-emissions fleet adoption will require detailed planning, multi-disciplinary collaboration, significant financial resources, and motivated staff to support successful execution.

As a solution provider, we’re expanding our team to tackle the complexities of transportation decarbonization for some of the largest fleet operators in the world and we’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Principal Planner who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running on time and within budget. By joining us, you’ll be managing exciting and engaging projects focused on zero-emissions transit. You’ll be engaging with our existing transportation/transit clients, as well as supporting pursuits for new work.

You will be one of the company’s key contacts with clients and you’ll ensure overall work progress and technical performance on projects. You will contribute to and manage teams in the completion of required activities, including transportation / transit service modeling, master planning, and the development of strategic plans for our transportation/transit clients with a focus on zero-emissions transportation.

Our project delivery leadership and other senior project manager /operations leaders will clear the way for your inventive thinking and exploration, so you have the support, means and space to deliver solutions for our clients. As a passionate leader, you will leverage your mentorship skills to support our emerging talent to grow and develop our planning team.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning ,Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• AICP certification or P.E. registration preferred

• Substantial years’ experience in a Planning, Engineering, or Transportation organization, including at least 5 years’ experience in a project management capacity

• Experience working in a transit environment on bus and/or bus rapid transit (BRT) projects preferred

• Familiarity with zero-emissions transportation technology and its impacts on traditional transportation operations preferred

• Knowledge and experience of Federal and State transportation regulations and programs, such as FTA, USCG, FHWA, and DOT

• Excellent communication, time management and report writing skills

• Great mentorship and leadership skills
