Jacobs Project Manager- Ports & Maritime in New York, New York

By joining the Jacobs Ports & Maritime practice, you’ll be involved in helping lead the design and delivery of projects ranging from local waterfront projects to international multi-billion dollar port developments. In addition to managing the project financials, delivery, and client relationship, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, architects, and scientists to deliver complex projects across the New York City region and beyond. • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering • Professional Engineer (PE) License in New York (or ability to apply for reciprocity) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Proven and demonstrated project management experience in the successful delivery of horizontal infrastructure development projects (waterfront preferable, but not required) • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and subject matter experts to deliver projects • Good communication skills and ability to interface with clients and stakeholders, both internal and external • Strong proposal and technical writing skills • Seller-doer mentality Ideally, you’ll also have: • Experience with New York City agencies such as DDC, EDC, DEP, SBS, etc. and/or the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey • Experience in design and task management of waterfront projects or facilities • Experience and/or interest in the planning, design, rehabilitation, and/or inspection of waterfront structures and/or facilities • Experience and/or interest in coastal resilience projects
