Jacobs Structural Engineering Intern – Summer 2025 in New York, New York

You’ll work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to project coordination, relevant computer-assisted engineering software, data collection and so much more.
Responsibilities:
• Offer design support on exciting transportation projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and early career professional programs
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Attend and contribute to project and team meetings
• Support design and preparation of plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads
• Support preparation of reports, plans, specifications, construction schedules, and engineers estimate
• Perform other duties as needed

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited program
• Must be at least a rising Junior
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• 3.0 GPA
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• A previous internship related to your field of study
• Self-driven time management and organizational skills
• Submitted a cover letter with your resume
