We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Construction Superintendent who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at our client's site in Harlem, NY.
As the Construction Superintendent, you’ll take the lead on developing and communicating the project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against that work plan, and be able to perform a detailed comparison of the design drawings against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project trades. You’ll provide direction to the team regarding quality, safety, and general day-to-day operations. Your ability to coordinate onsite work schedules with the client’s staff and manage multiple projects at a time will be critical to your success. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team.
6+ years of construction experience in inspecting large scale building construction projects valued above $1 million
4 years’ experience shall be as an Assistant Superintendent or Inspector on large-scale, multi-contract building projects
Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
OSHA 30 Certification
Work will require access to secure facilities and employment will be dependent on clearing a background check
Masonry restoration
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
Historic masonry restoration
Office of General Services experience
