About the Opportunity: Graduate GIS Analyst – Wellington
The Geospatial Solutions Section is a high performing team of professionals who deliver on complex and challenging projects. They work as a cohesive unit, enjoy what they do and are enthusiastic about it. They link well within the Digital Solutions team in New Zealand and Australia and the wider Jacobs business, and always look for opportunities to expand their technical relationships and sustain robust client relationships.
We have an exciting Graduate GIS Analyst opportunity based in our Wellington office for a recent graduate. Your role will be to assist in delivering professional geospatial consulting project services to Jacobs’ clients, locally and nationally.

The successful candidate will:
Have completed a Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Geospatial Sciences, Information Technology or related discipline
Demonstrate an ability in data science, computer science, GIS or similar
Have experience in the basics of ESRI suite (ArcGIS, AGOL, Arc Portal, web mapping)
Knowledge/familiarity of the FME Desktop software is desirable
Be able to work both independently and in a team
Possess the right to work in New Zealand
