This role will be delivered from our Newcastle upon Tyne office.
The post is for those with post graduate experience delivering EC&I activities preferably within regulated industries. Candidates will be familiar with the delivery of EC&I engineering activities such as producing engineering plans, technical reports and specifications with an ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Support will range across the full project life cycle, from requirements capture through to installation and commissioning.
Software and hardware design of control, protection, simulation, SCADA and HMI systems.
Systems integration, test and validation of control, PLC, SCADA and simulator systems.
Ability to work with limited supervision whilst delivering tasks to quality, schedule and budget.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Degree in relevant engineering discipline (Electronic / Electrical Engineering) or successful completion of a relevant apprentice scheme.
Eligible to work in the UK and acquire CTC security clearance.
Evidence of working towards either Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with a relevant professional body.
Awareness of software-based control systems (PLCs, FPGAs, SMART Components, SCADA, HMIs, DCSs, DPSs).
Experience of producing detailed engineering documentation.
The ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with electrical systems, control systems and process instrumentation.
