We are looking for a Senior Design Manager who is an innovator and problem solver to join our Newcastle Transport Business and help deliver value to our clients. As a leader in your career, you will be expected to provide engineering design management and technical leadership to the wider team in addition to operating as a civil engineer to undertake civil design tasks. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the Transport Infrastructure section across multiple disciplines, including mentoring of less experienced staff, providing inputs to tender bids and marketing to external and internal clients. Project delivery varies between design only, design and construct and alliance models. #LI-DG1 #ANZTransport #APMETransport

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience in road and civil design

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

• Be fully conversant in the use of civil design and analysis software and have an understanding of relevant Australian Standards, including Austroads

While the role is ideally based in Newcastle with the convenience of great lifestyle options and fast commute, you will still be afforded the opportunities to exciting major projects in Sydney and across Australia. Given the current climate, remote working will also be considered.
