Jacobs APAC Cyber Security Lead (can be based in any major Jacobs office in APAC) in North Sydney, Australia

As such, this role is a key pillar of the Jacobs APAC Digital Strategy and will have a central position in engaging our clients at the highest levels to understand and support their aspirations. This role will act as a key leader providing to the growing Jacobs’ Cyber Security capabilities in the region: tackling some of our clients’ most important and complex concerns around responding to the ever-increasing cyber threat.

In a rapidly changing Operational Technology (OT) environment, clients from all industries look to us for trusted solutions for their increasingly complex risks and vulnerabilities. You’ll be right at the heart of that goal, helping clients gain insight and context to their complex operational environments and assessing, designing, and building infrastructure, processes and policies to meet client’s OT cybersecurity needs. You’ll get to use your technical and business skills to help us drive this mission and have an impact on OT cybersecurity at a global level across new capabilities and services.

You will be working across all Jacobs aligned industry sectors: primary sectors include water, power, transport and built environment groups with close links to our Federal cybersecurity capabilities.   • Help our clients to focus on cyber strategy, understand their technology environment and tools that drives efficiencies and provide recommendations to enable them to improve their ability to respond to Cyber risks and threats.

  • Understand various organisational dynamics and risk management approach for OT cyber security outcomes providing support and guidance to strategic use of cyber security in managing cyber risk

  • Improving our clients' understanding and management of risk in Operational Technologies through effective controls whilst leading and managing Cyber Security risk and maturity assessments for clients

  • Working alongside and building a team to deliver on project engagements in the OT cyber security space.

  • Providing design, implementation, maintenance and consulting services for OT Cyber related aspects of Industrial Control Systems (ICS).

  • Design and implement cybersecurity solutions for projects to enable compliance with cybersecurity best practice, regulations and guidelines to effectively operate and maintain designed solutions.

  • Responsibility for analysing impacts and exposures based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Experience assisting and delivering to clients around managing cyber risks to meet business objectives, stakeholder expectations and compliance obligations.

  • Strong understanding of operations work relating to Critical Infrastructure (Water, Transportation, Power and Energy, Oil and Gas etc)

  • Experience in providing thought leadership for OT cyber security trends and interventions.

  • Experience in sales, client delivery and team leadership with program delivery, client presentations, business development and proposal development skills.

  • Knowledge of the current security environment and industry trends to identify engagement and client service issues, ability to communicate this information to the engagement team and client management.

  • Previous experience focusing on, and the implications from, the intersections of Information Technology (IT) and OT, as well as the increasingly important role of Industrial IoT, 5G and Edge capabilities.

  • A background in Cyber Security strategy and governance, OT/Cyber Security audit and/or security architecture.

  • Knowledge of relevant standards (example: NIST CSF, NIST 800-82 or ISA62443), applications within OT environments and good industry practice in tiered security architecture design

  • Highly effective relationship building skills with the ability to articulate deeply complex technical issues.

  • Preferred: Relevant industry certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM. GICSP), knowledge of IT risk management principles, practices and techniques and/or knowledge of forensic investigative techniques.

  • Knowledge of penetration testing, programming, networks and operating systems

  • Creative, independent with good problem-solving skills

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
