As such, this role is a key pillar of the Jacobs APAC Digital Strategy and will have a central position in engaging our clients at the highest levels to understand and support their aspirations.
In this role the successful person will provide leadership to the Digital Advisory group to promote growth and performance., working with the Operations teams to further build the Digital Advisory ‘brand’, and cement Jacobs’ position as a leading firm in this space. This role is an essential part of cross sector engagement with relevant Client Account Managers, Market Directors and Operational Leaders to deliver and contribute to high quality and innovative advisory solutions for Jacobs’ clients. You will leverage your global networks to identify and put forward Jacobs’ unique capabilities and resources whilst also applying them locally.
This role builds Digital Advisory capabilities and capacity to address the strategic needs of our clients and to successfully deliver our projects. Broadly speaking, the core capability areas are closely aligned to Jacobs deep domain expertise, across multiple sectors, combining into: ‘Smart, Connected and Secure Spaces’ and ‘Digital Intelligence’ – both related to the built environment and infrastructure at the core.
As an illustration, some in-market advisory offerings would include: Strategy and Business case development; Digital roadmaps; funding and financing models, baseline (current state) maturity assessments, Digital operating models, Cyber security (working closely with Cyber Lead), Enterprise and process architecture.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Ability and previous experience and/or exposure to growing a Digital Advisory capability
Growing and developing profitable workload pipelines, enhancing client relationships and supporting capability/capacity build within teams.
Exposure to roles responsible for defining and building capability: working closely with other business groups (Sales, Operations etc.) to address the strategic needs of our clients and to successfully deliver our projects.
Experience in areas such as the following:
Digital consulting / advisory delivery, and practice building
Implementing and supporting clients in enhancing their own digital maturity
Ideation and creation of innovative Digital services, solutions, and products (i.e design thinking, customer experience, ideation, lean startup etc)
Data analytics and visualisation
Design, operations and maintenance of digital infrastructure (intelligent transport, smart and secure places, digital utilities etc)
Scoping, designing, developing, acquiring, implementing, operating and upgrading solutions and services
Selecting, implementing, operating and upgrading operational technologies (process control, IT/OT integration, comms networks)
Implementing cyber security measures (policies, standards, architecture etc)
Ability to develop & maintain a deep understanding of global and regional technology advances, industry trends and best practice. Ensure that Jacobs is at the forefront of these developments and that they are leveraged and applied consistently to win work and deliver it successfully.
Good interpersonal skills who develops others and has the ability to build strong client relationships.
